Ready to Play? Here’s How to Join the Squad

Step 1 – Connect With Us

Reach out through our contact form or email to express your interest in joining the association. Our team will guide you through the next steps.

Step 2 – Attend Orientation

Join an introductory session to learn about our programs, leagues, and opportunities for new umpires.

Step 3 – Get Certified

Enroll in our training and certification programs in partnership with Cricket Canada. Learn the laws, develop your decision-making skills, and gain confidence.

Step 4 – Join the Panel

Once certified, you’ll be added to our umpiring roster and start officiating in local matches and leagues across the Eastern GTA.

Step 5 – Grow With Us

As you gain experience, you’ll have opportunities for advanced training, mentorship roles, and leadership within the association.

1. How can I become a member of the Cricket Umpires Association?
You can join by contacting us through our website or email. We’ll guide you through the orientation and registration process, and help you begin your training to become a certified umpire.
While having cricket knowledge is helpful, it’s not mandatory. Our structured training programs teach you everything you need to know — from the laws of cricket to on-field management and decision-making.
Yes. All our officials hold Cricket Canada certifications and regularly participate in refresher courses and workshops to maintain high professional standards.

Our panel of umpires actively serves more than six leagues across the Eastern GTA, including community and competitive tournaments. We continue to expand as cricket grows in the region.
