How can I join the association?

Is there an age requirement to become an umpire?

Yes. Applicants must generally be 18 years or older, though younger candidates may be considered for trainee or development programs.

Training and certification fees may apply depending on the program. Full details are shared during orientation and registration.

Match assignments depend on availability, certification level, and league schedules. Active umpires usually officiate regularly during the season.

Yes. Umpires are compensated for matches based on league rates and match formats.

Umpires are expected to wear proper officiating attire, including uniform shirts, hats, and appropriate footwear. Guidelines are provided upon joining.

Yes, provided there is no conflict of interest. You cannot officiate matches in leagues or teams where you are actively playing.

Absolutely. We regularly organize refresher sessions, law updates, and workshops to ensure umpires stay current.

Umpires must notify the association in advance so a replacement can be arranged without disrupting the match.

Yes. New umpires are paired with experienced officials who provide guidance, feedback, and on-field support.

Progression is based on performance, experience, certifications, and assessments. Consistent umpires are recommended for higher-level matches.
